The XP163/XP263 Tyred Roller is a signature Series 3 product that has been successfully developed from Series 2. Its high starting point, technology, performance and quality ensure that the machine remains at the forefront of China's tyred roller development. Features of the machine include great aesthetic design, comfortable and convenient operation, excellent performance, good safety and reliability, as well as easy maintenance. It is suitable for asphalt pavement, foundation, secondary foundation and filling projects and is an indispensable compacting tool for road and irrigation constructions. The machine is especially suitable for the compaction of asphalt highway surfaces where it can provide unparalleled compaction effects.

Advantages and highlights:

1. Comfortable operation
The wide and brightly lighted cab (with air-conditioning option) provides good field of vision and operational comfort. The bilateral control prevents dead corners on press edges, bends and turning points.
 

2. Convenient control
The vehicle features two steering wheels, seats and separate control systems. The gear box with synchronizer provides three forward and two reverse gears that will fulfil all compaction requirements. Gear change can be performed easily with the ergonomically designed handle that ofers flexible control and reduce operational fatigue.

3. Excellent performance
Pneumatic tyres are used to compact layers without damaging the materials. Counterweight can be added or removed by inflating the pneumatic tyres, The kneading forces created by the elastic tyres spread the material in all directions to form a uniform, dense and gap free surface that can ensure long pavement service life.
The front roller uses a swing mechanism to ensure even ground pressure even on uneven ground surface to achieve even compaction.

4. Safe and reliable
The braking system features both emergency and manual braking. The emergency brake uses an air-oil cylinder design to ensure safety and durability. Manual braking is done through a diaphragm spring which complement the foot brake to ensure safe and reliable operation.

5. Reliable water channel
The XP163/XP203 sprinkler system can satisfy different operational requirements. lt extends the service life of the water pump, while preventing downtime time water channel issues. The optional oil sprinkler provides further customization and can remove any asphalt that is stuck on the tyres, ensuring high work quality.

6. Energy efficient and green
The vehicle uses a high performance, low noise supercharged diesel engine that is robust and offers great economic value. In addition, it also adheres to National ll emission standard.
